Our dog was bitten and injured by another dog while at 3 Dogs' day care in late October 2023. 3 Dogs' actions over the past several weeks show that this is not a responsible, caring, or safe facility. I encourage you to keep our experience in mind when you choose a dog day care.
1. 3 Dogs did not reach out to check on our dog or see how she was doing. They knew that our dog had puncture wounds, needed an same-day urgent care vet visit, sedation for the puncture wounds to be flushed and treated, three prescriptions, follow up visits, constant monitoring, etc. We finally reached out to them after 2 weeks of not hearing from them.
2. When we reached out to them to ask about their procedures when a dog is injured while in their care, they seemed to have no procedures. No incident report was made. There was no surveillance video of the scuffle / bite. The staff member that I talked to on the phone was not aware of the incident until I contacted 3 Dogs.
3. When we asked what happened with the dog that bit our dog, they said that nothing happened - the other dog did not go home early, there was no change to the dog's schedule (until weeks later when we requested it), and we learned later that the other dog's owner was not EVEN INFORMED THAT SHE BIT OUR DOG.
4. 3 Dogs has changed their story over and over. As of our last email with them today, they are now blaming our dog for being bitten. Our dog and the other dog do NOT know each other beyond living in the same neighborhood; they have never had an incident outside of 3 Dogs. However, 3 Dogs keeps repeating this story that the two dogs "have a history" and "know each other" and that was a contributing factor, instead of taking a speck of responsibility for the dog injury happening at their facility when our dog was under their care.
After being customers since 2020 or 2021, we will never go back. I encourage you to go elsewhere, too.
Incredible staff and facility. Our dog loves coming here and he is always so tuckered out at the end of the day.
Thanks for your great care! Experienced, kind, patient staff and pups were super excited to be there by day 3.
I love this daycare and all of the staff. They absolutely adore my dog and it’s obvious she loves them, too. You know it’s a good sign when your dog doesn’t want to come home 😂 …
My dog was a 5 month old rescue who had never played with any other dogs. She was very shy and timid around other dogs so a friend recommended us to 3 dogs. I owe her a steak dinner because they were able to get my dog comfortable with other dogs and she genuinely loves seeing the staff when she is there. If I could give 10 stars I would. The prices are very affordable and compared to the progress my dog has made i would pay twice that. The staff is always knowledgeable about what your dog did that day or who they played with, which is really helpful for tracking the progress they make. I cant say enough good things about the facility, the staff or anything else that comes from here. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL.
Friendly and attentive staff. Great system of introducing dogs.
Incredible place! They know dogs here. They gave my high-energy German Shepherd an extremely thorough assessment ("interview") before he began daycare/boarding. They take time to understand each dog and what they need to ensure positive pack interactions. My dog always comes back tired--and even seems better behaved. I can't recommend this place enough!
We LOVE 3 dogs! They take such good care of my dogs. The owner Anne is awesome and is always genuinely excited to see my pup. We used to take our older guy here too until a bad back took him out of daycare. She always asked after him. I love that the dogs don’t sleep in cages and that the premises are huge. It’s just great.
I highly recommend. They are patient and welcoming. They care. Our dog is always nice and played out by the time she gets home. She looks forward to going.
